Protesto contra morte de morador do Areal bloqueia Avenida Alberto Passos

Na noite desta quinta-feira (25) dezenas de moradores do Areal saíram e passeata pelo centro de Cruz das Almas durante uma manifestação contrária a ação da Polícia Militar que resultou na morte de um morador identificado como “Assinho”. A morte, registrada na tarde da última terça-feira (23), ocorreu no bairro durante uma incursão de duas guarnições do PETO (Pelotão de Emprego Tático Operacional), lotadas na 27ª CIPM.

Puxando uma carroça utilizada pelo morador que era catador de lenha e carregando faixas e cartazes com palavras pedindo “Justiça” e “Luto”, os manifestantes chegaram a interromper o tráfego de veículos na Avenida Alberto Passos por cerca de 20 minutos, provocando um congestionamento na via, uma das mais importante da cidade. Apesar disso, nenhum incidente foi registrado durante a manifestação.

Presente no local, o Forte na Notícia conversou com Jairo Santos, até então o melhor amigo de “Essinho”. Segundo ele, o seu amigo não possuía envolvimento com o tráfico de drogas, era uma pessoa que todos gostavam. “(…) Eu morro nos pês de qualquer um, mas vou dizer que ele era inocente. Quem viu a morte, mas está com medo de falar, chegou para mim e falou que viu os policiais torturando, depois que bateu, bateu e matou o rapaz. Posso amanhecer morto, mas não estou nem aí, porque sou pela verdade. Os caras que eles (PM) mataram era inocente. Eu vou bater no peito e dizer que era um cara sem pai e sem mãe, cozinhava de lenha; tinha vergonha de pedir um prato de comida, ele tinha vergonha quando pedia dinheiro para comprar comida”, desabafou.

Segundo reportagens divulgadas pela imprensa local, policiais militares teriam afirmado que o morador possuía envolvimento com o tráfico e teria atirado em direção a guarnição durante o patrulhamento na área onde ocorreu o confronto. Por esse motivo, a PM teria revidado a injusta agressão. Apesar da morte ter sido tratada como auto de resistência, a Policia Militar não divulgou a imagem da arma apreendida com o suspeito.

Um proprietário de um bar, localizado na rua Rui Barbosa (antiga rua da Estação), sofreu uma tentativa de homicídio na noite desta sexta-feira, 19, em Cruz das Almas.

Em circunstâncias não muito esclarecidas, a vítima estava no interior do estabelecimento quando um desconhecido armado entrou no local e atirou em sua direção.

Com ferimento nas costas, o comerciante que não teve a identidade divulgada foi socorrido em um carro particular e encaminhado para a Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA), de onde deve ser transferido para o Hospital Regional de Santo Antônio de Jesus (HRSAJ).

A Polícia Militar foi acionada, mas até a publicação desta matéria não havia informações sobre prisão do suspeito. O caso deve ser registrado na Delegacia Territorial.

A Prefeitura de Cruz das Almas segue realizando diversas ações de mobilização de combate à dengue. Na manhã de hoje, (19), os Agentes de Combate às Endemias, através da Secretaria de Saúde, realizaram na localidade da Pumba um grande trabalho de intensificação no combate ao mosquito Aedes aegypti.

A ação preventiva foi feita com um equipamento de pulverização, utilizando inseticida para bloquear os mosquitos adultos, evitando assim a transmissão de casos. As ações de bloqueio também já foram realizadas em outros pontos do município, com aplicação de inseticidas diante do número de casos positivos na localidade. Durante a ação, os agentes de endemias realizaram ainda uma mobilização educativa com a comunidade sobre os cuidados da prevenção e combate ao mosquito Aedes aegypti.

Moradora da Pumba há mais de 30 anos, a dona de casa Adelaide de Almeida disse que tem se preocupado com a proliferação da dengue e reforça que os cuidados preventivos devem ser mantidos pela comunidade na eliminação dos criadouros do mosquito da dengue. “A dengue é uma doença séria, minha gente, e todos precisam acordar e ajudar. Se cada um fizer o que deve ser feito, que é o básico, não acumulando água parada, deixando o quintal limpo e recebendo a equipe de combate à dengue, com certeza esse mal não chegará até nós,” destacou a moradora da região.

A prefeitura de Cruz das Almas segue promovendo diversas ações e uma série de medidas de combate à dengue nas feiras livres, escolas e bairros das cidades, com distribuição de panfletos, visitas educativas e de fiscalização em diversos locais, mutirão de limpeza urbana, caminhadas de conscientização, entre outras iniciativas.

A abertura da Copa de Futsal Feminino teve início na noite desta quinta-feira (18), no Ginásio de Esportes, em Cruz das Almas. Com três partidas eletrizantes, as equipes mostraram todo o seu talento e determinação em busca da vitória.

No primeiro confronto da noite, São Felipe enfrentou o União e não deu chances para o adversário, conquistando uma vitória avassaladora vencendo por 9 X 0. Em seguida, NAFC e Independente se enfrentaram, com o Independente levando a melhor ao vencer por 5 a 2. O último jogo da noite foi entre Cabaceiras e Inter, o time de Cabaceiras venceu por 2 X 1.

“A Copa de Futsal Feminino é mais do que uma competição esportiva; é uma celebração da força e do talento das mulheres esportistas em nosso município. Estamos comprometidos em promover a igualdade e o acesso ao esporte para todos. Parabenizo as todas as equipes participantes”, destacou o prefeito Ednaldo Ribeiro.

A Copa Cruzalmense de Futsal Feminino é promovida pela Prefeitura de Cruz das Almas, por meio da Secretaria de Esporte, Cultura e Lazer, o campeonato conta com uma premiação total de três mil reais, além de proporcionar uniformes para todas as equipes participantes.
